Introduced are three female American foilists: Ms. Marion Lloyd (later Mrs. Joseph Vince), the current US Women’s Foil Champion; Miss Locke, runner-up in the same championship; and, Miss Burnside. Next are introduced three female British foilists: Miss Peggy Butler, captain of the Bertrand first team and British champion; Miss Nelligan, of the Bertrand club and Miss Butler’s runner-up; and, Miss Pollock-Smith, captain of the Bertrand second team.
