Jane’s epee accomplishments include:

a.. Won the first “A” rating ever awarded in Women’s Epee (for winning the Women’s Epee event at the 1980 National Fencing Championships in NY)

b.. Won the Women’s Epee event at the 1979 Nationals (Colorado Springs)

c.. Silver medal at the 1982 National Championships (Washington D.C.) (Women’s Epee had become a National Championship in 1981.)

d.. Bronze medal at the 1985 National Championships (Cleveland, OH)

e.. Ranked #1 in US and North American Circuit in Women’s Epee 1986 & 1990      (Twice was NAC Season Point Champion)

a.. Member of two US Women’s Epee Teams to the World Championships (1988, later called World Criterium, & 1990)

b.. 10th Place 1986 Challenge Jean Clouet (International Women’s Epee, Soissons, France)

c.. Silver Medal, 1986, Welsh Open (British Circuit Point Event, Cardiff)

d.. Member United States Women’s Epee National Team (Top 8; 1988-92). Won multiple North American Cups and several top 32 finishes in World Cups.

Retired from competition in 1992.

e.. Gold Medal, Women’s Epee Team, 1999 Summer Nationals (Charlotte) (Fenced for & Capt of Columbia Fencers’ Club; Un-retired for this event, then re-retired.)
